  1. I’m not sure I buy that. I’m not even sure any of the claims of backwards messages in any song are even legit. I’m not saying that the pastor is lying. He may have found this online somewhere where someone had some “fun” with audio editing. I haven’t checked this with urbanlegends.com yet, but I have seen pastors in the past fall victim to some of the urban legends created through the Internet.

Needless to say, Jay-Z is obviously one messed up individual, as most secular musicians and artists are. Anything that doesn’t keep Christ in the focus can only end in a total mess. There’s plenty of Christian Hip-Hop alternatives out there for everyone by some very gifted and annointed artists.

You see, the subliminal mind isn’t about hearing things backwards…although it could process information played backwards just as easily as played forwards….what the subliminal mind is about is hearing things super fast. An entire message like that could be played at super high speed in a .01 second spot of that song in forward and your concious brian would never hear it….just as with subliminal imagery, but your sub-concious mind hears and sees all things no matter how fast they go by.

The whole backwards thing just doesn’t seem plausible, because you would conciously hear “redrum, redrum” like in that horror movie The Shinning…I used to be a big horror fan…used to be.
